Soapnet Will Encore Two Episodes of ABC's New Hit Series "Ugly Betty" Over the Next Two Saturdays
The episodes will air at 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight, ET on October 21 and 28.

SOAPnet WILL ENCORE TWO EPISODES OF ABC�S NEW HIT SERIES �UGLY BETTY� OVER THE NEXT TWO SATURDAYS

SOAPnet, the new way to watch soaps, will air two encore episodes of the new hit ABC-TV series �Ugly Betty� over the next two consecutive Saturdays at 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight, ET. On September 30 SOAPnet aired a special encore presentation of the premiere episode of �Ugly Betty,� garnering impressive ratings for SOAPnet -- a 0.5 rating among women 18-49 at 12:00 a.m.

��Ugly Betty� is a wonderful series that resonates with our viewers. We appreciate the opportunity to make sure SOAPnet viewers can get to know Betty,� said Deborah Blackwell, general manager, SOAPnet.

�Fey�s Sleigh Ride� will air on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21 at 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight, ET. When Mode is forced to abandon its big Christmas photo shoot because another magazine has copied the idea, Betty forms an uneasy alliance with Marc and Amanda. The three fear they may have leaked the idea to someone at the rival mag (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez, �The OC�) during happy hour . . . and that their jobs will be history if anyone finds out. Meanwhile, Daniel and Wilhelmina reluctantly work together to come up with a new photo spread as Mode�s deadline looms, and Betty�s nephew, Justin, is oblivious to the turmoil as he spends a day at the magazine for a class project. This episode�s original premiere is on Thursday, October 19 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

�The Lyin�, the Watch and the Wardrobe� will air on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28 at 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight, ET. It�s Halloween and Betty is in for a series of frightful experiences -- ranging from showing up dressed for the Mode costume contest . . . only to learn there isn�t one, to dealing with her growing attraction to Henry (guest star Christopher Gorham, �Jake 2.0�), while a jealous Walter fumes -- and, worst of all, tracking down a watch Daniel left at one of his many girlfriends� apartments (he just can�t remember which one). Meanwhile, Daniel pays a visit to his mom (guest star Judith Light, �Who�s the Boss?�) in rehab, and Wilhelmina is horrified to learn that she can�t fit into a designer gown. This episode�s original premiere is on Thursday, October 26 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

�Ugly Betty� stars America Ferrera as Betty Suarez, Eric Mabius as Daniel Meade, Alan Dale as Bradford Meade, Tony Plana as Ignacio, Ana Ortiz as Hilda, Ashley Jensen as Christina, Becki Newton as Amanda, Mark Indelicato as Justin and Vanessa Williams as Wilhelmina Slater. Recurring guest stars are Michael Urie as Marc and Kevin Sussman as Walter.

�Ugly Betty� is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC�s selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP.
