We are proud to honor those who are putting their lives on the line to protect American freedom around the world through A SALUTE TO THE TROOPS AND USO, said Michael Wright, senior vice president of original programming for TBS and sister network TNT. This tribute to our troops is going to be a night to remember, with a special tribute to legendary comedian Bob Hope. And with Thanksgiving coming just a few days later, its a perfect opportunity for us to say thanks to the troops and the USO for everything they do.

The USO is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide morale, welfare and recreation services to this countrys men and women in uniform.
