CAT DEELEY RINGS IN 2007 ON NEW YEAR'S EVE SPECIAL SUNDAY, DECEMBER 31, ON FOX

Toni Braxton and the Rock Band Daughtry to Perform Live from Times Square

Special Also Features Live Remotes from Bowl Championship Series Locations In Glendale, AZ, Miami and New Orleans

Cat Deeley, host of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, returns to FOX as host of the NEW YEARS EVE SPECIAL airing live from New York Citys Times Square, the center of the countrys largest New Years countdown celebration, Sunday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET/CT/MT/PT) on FOX.

Deeley, one of the foremost television hosts in the UK in addition to her work on FOX, is a double BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Award winner and has won awards for hosting some of the UKs hottest primetime shows, including Stars in Their Eyes, CD:UK Live, SMTV: Live, Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, the V Festival (2004, 2005), The Brits, Record of the Year, Elton John Live from New York, The Latin Grammy Awards and a one-hour special with U2, When Cat Met U2, for ITV. Recently, Deeley was invited to serve as a correspondent for The Tonight Show as well as an entertainment contributor on Good Morning America. Deeley has interviewed such luminaries as Madonna, Mariah Carey, Prince, Marilyn Manson, Elton John, Joss Stone, Tom Jones and 50 Cent. Notably, Deeley was granted an interview with singer Kylie Minogue, the first since Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has also appeared on the television comedies Happiness and Little Britain.

Six-time Grammy Award-winning artist Toni Braxton will perform from the Times Square stage. Currently, Braxton is appearing at The Flamingo in Las Vegas. Additionally, AMERICAN IDOL alumnus Chris Daughtry will perform his new hit single Its Not Over from his new already platinum CD, live from the Times Square stage with his band Daughtry.

In addition to musical performances, the special will feature live remotes from three cities hosting the Bowl Championship Series: Glendale, AZ, Miami, FL, and New Orleans, LA. Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy, the hosts of FOXs upcoming The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, will join FOX Sports Allstate Sugar Bowl reporter Jeanne Zelasko in the festivities from New Orleans, while FOX Sports correspondent and FedEx Orange Bowl sideline reporter Laura Okmin will be reporting live from Miami. In Glendale, former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey will be joined by FOX Sports Fiesta Bowl and BCS Championship Game reporter Chris Myers.

Said Executive Producer Phil Gurin: Were really excited to be back in Times Square, with a great host and great guests, and our exclusive BCS Bowl game previews from around the country. Id rather ring in the New Year with the beautiful Cat Deeley than any of the guys on the other networks.

As 2007 nears, Deeley will take a look back at 2006s most memorable moments in pop culture. The excitement will peak when the famed New Years Eve Ball makes its descent in Times Square and the crowd erupts to welcome in 2007 and FOXs cameras will be there to capture the celebration.

NEW YEAR'S EVE SPECIAL from Times Square is produced by The Gurin Company, Executive Producer Phil Gurin (Miss Universe, Miss USA, The Weakest Link, Test the Nation).
