LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC won't be going to group therapy anymore.
The Alphabet confirmed this morning its freshman comedy "Help Me Help You" has been yanked. Additional first-run episodes of its lead-in "Big Day" will fill the show's Tuesday, 9:30/8:30c slot through January 16. A permanent replacement is expected to be announced soon.
"Help Me's" most recent airing drew a paltry 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 according to preliminary Nielsen data. Said number was off 22.22% from its equally as paltry lead-in "Big Day" (1.8 rating).
In total nine of the show's 13 produced episodes have aired, leaving four on the shelf.
Jennifer Konner, Alexandra Rushfield and Alex Reid were the executive producers of the series, which comes from Regency Television.
