OSCAR.COMS MAN OF STYLE, TOM JULIAN, RETURNS AS COMMENTATOR FOR THE 79th ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS

Fashions from Around the Globe Predicted for Red Carpet

Oscar.com is celebrating its 12th anniversary by keeping the legendary fashion of the Academy Awards front and center with multiple galleries and a new fashion blog. The sites unique voice will be articulated by popular trend watcher Tom Julian, now entering his 12th year as fashion commentator. Through Oscar.com, Julian was first to chronicle the world of couture fashion on the red carpet of Hollywoods biggest night of the year.

Oscar.com has become the go to site for tracking whos wearing what on the red carpet, and continues to showcase trends and red carpet influences in the most complete interactive way. We keep developing ways to share headlines from a variety of fashion capitols to let the online community know whats next for Oscar night, commented Julian.

This year the sites Style section promises to again be a popular feature attraction on Oscar.com (www.oscar.com/style), as coverage includes:

? Over 50 new photos in the womens and mens fashion photo galleries from the 788h Annual Academy Awards.

? An Evolution of Style gallery that illustrates the ever-evolving personal fashion trends of past winners, nominees and presenters with multiple images.

? A red carpet retrospective look at fashions over Oscars history, themed out for eight decades, with over 150 photos.

? An enhanced Fashion Forward gallery with streaming video. Look for exclusive style reports and visits with top designers.

Tom Julian has become synonymous with fashion, said Alexis Rapo, vice president, Digital Media, ABC Entertainment which produces Oscar.com. Toms inside track with designers and styles, partnered with his extensive knowledge of fashion, continue to make Oscar.com the source for trends and statements at the Academy Awards.

Julian just completed his first anniversary as senior vice president, strategic director of Trends, for McCann Erickson. McCann Erickson, headquartered in New York, is one of the nations leading global advertising agencies and part of the worlds leading ad agency network. Clients include premier global marketers and many of the worlds most famous brands. The agency is a unit of McCann Worldgroup, one of the largest marketing communications companies in the world.

Julians relationship with the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and the ABC Television Network began in 1995, when Julian was enlisted as the official fashion voice for a fashion satellite program to television stations around the country. This marks his 13th year standing on the Oscar red carpet.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2006 will be presented on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, and televised live by the ABC Television Network at 5:00 p.m., PT (8:00 p.m., ET), beginning with a half-hour arrivals segment, Road to the Oscars.
