New York, NY March 8, 2007 � MTV: Music Television announced today the premiere of �Taquita & Kaui� on Monday, April 2nd at 10:30pm ET/PT. �Taquita & Kaui,� MTV�s new reality series, features two girls who met on MTV�s hit series �Making the Band 3�--unfortunately the girls didn�t make the final cut but they've since become the best of friends. Now they're ready to give showbiz another try.

This modern day odd couple move to Las Vegas to pursue their dreams of stardom but soon find out that the road to fame is bumpy. Hilarity ensues while the girls are pursuing their singing and dancing careers, but find that some jobs don�t exactly involve singing and dancing�at least not the way they envisioned it. They try their hands at many different jobs such as clowns, magician assistants and background dancers among others. Viewers will find out what life is really like in Las Vegas and what it takes to make it in show business�Good thing Taquita & Kaui have each other to fall back on!
