BBC America Sets First Round of Summer Premiere Dates

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- BBC America has confirmed its first set of premiere dates as part of its "radical makeover" announced last month (read the story).

Here's a breakdown of said dates, with the network's official descriptions:

THE INNOCENCE PROJECT

Two back-to-back episodes premiere every Thursday from May 10 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

A team of young lawyers battle the system on behalf of wrongly convicted defendants in an innovative new BBC AMERICA co-production. The INNOCENCE PROJECT is executive produced by Paul Abbott (State of Play).

HEX

Premieres Saturday, June 2, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

At the close of the first season, a student�s aborted baby is found alive and growing at an inhuman rate. His birth has unleashed a crew of fallen angels, who are dead-set on killing mortals. The human race�s only chance for survival depends on one student, Ella, with a mysterious past. But can she fight all of Hell back on her own?

Premieres Wednesday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

FOOTBALLERS WIVE$ airs as part of BBC AMERICA�s all-new Wicked Wednesday night of female friendly programming.
