Golden Globe Winner Kyra Sedgwick To Be Joined by Series Creator James Duff and Other Cast Members for Interactive Web Cast at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT

Fans of TNT's THE CLOSER, ad-supported cable's #1 series of all time, will have a chance to ask questions of the series' cast members, including Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick, and find out what is in store for the upcoming third season when TVGuide.com hosts a special interactive Web cast live from the set on Thursday, June 7, beginning at 4 p.m. (ET)/ 1 p.m. (PT). Joining Sedgwick will be the series creator and executive producer James Duff as well as fellow cast members Jon Tenney, J.K. Simmons, Corey Reynolds, Robert Gossett, G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Raymond Cruz and Michael Paul Chan. Craig Tomashoff, TV Guide's Los Angeles bureau chief, will moderate the chat, which invites fans to send questions in via email and watch the cast live as they offer their insights on their characters, the show, the upcoming third season and the show's enormous popularity.

To join the live web cast, fans should go to the www.TVGuide.com homepage and click on the link. The web cast will also be simulcast on TNT.tv and CNN Pipeline.

THE CLOSER's eagerly anticipated third season will kick off Monday, June 18, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT), with the first episode presented uninterrupted and commercial-free, sponsored by Toyota. Each episode will also be made available via broadband at tnt.tv and iTunes, as well as through VOD, following its run on TNT.

Sedgwick took home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series this year for her performance as the feminine yet forceful, offbeat yet indomitable CIA-trained Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, a former Atlanta detective brought to Los Angeles to head a special LAPD unit charged with cracking sensitive, high-profile murder cases. She is an expert at digging into a person's secrets and obtaining confessions, despite constantly struggling with her own imperfections and neuroses.

Ratings for THE CLOSER's first and second seasons combine to rank it as ad-supported cable's #1 original series of all time among viewers and households, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. Last year's second-season launch in June scored ad-supported cable's largest audience delivery ever for an original scripted series telecast, beating its own record set with the premiere episode of season one.

THE CLOSER comes to TNT from The Shephard/Robin Company in association with Warner Bros. Television and is executive-produced by Greer Shephard (Nip/Tuck, The D.A.), Michael M. Robin (Nip/Tuck, The D.A., NYPD Blue) and James Duff (The D.A., The Agency), and produced by Andrew J. Sacks (The D.A, Adaptation, Two Soliders). Gil Garcetti, Los Angeles district attorney from 1992 to 2000, is a consulting producer.

Turner Network Television (TNT), television's destination for drama and one of cable's top-rated networks, offers original movies and series, including the acclaimed detective drama The Closer, starring Golden Globe winner Kyra Sedgwick; Saving Grace, a bold new drama starring Oscar winner Holly Hunter; Heartland, a powerful medical drama with Treat Williams and Kari Matchett; and this summer's eagerly anticipated television event The Company, executive-produced by Ridley Scott and starring Chris O'Donnell, Michael Keaton and Alfred Molina. TNT is also home to powerful one-hour dramas, such as Without a Trace, Law & Order, Las Vegas, Cold Case, ER and Charmed; broadcast premiere movies; compelling prime-time specials, such as the Screen Actors Guild Awards; and championship sports coverage, including NASCAR and the NBA. TNT is also available in high-definition.

Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., a Time Warner company, is a major producer of news and entertainment product around the world and the leading provider of programming to the cable industry.
