Lifetime Proves All Women Are Beautiful Regardless Of Their Shape Or Size In The New Reality Series 'How To Look Good Naked' Hosted By Carson Kressley ("Queer Eye For The Straight Guy")

Eight Episodes Based on Popular British Format from RDF Media ("Wife Swap") To Premiere January 2008 on Lifetime

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 12 -- Four out of five American women today say they are dissatisfied with their bodies. To help change their perception, Lifetime has crossed the Atlantic and brought Britain's hit reality series "How To Look Good Naked" to the States. Based on the format of the U.K.'s Channel 4 series and hosted by Carson Kressley ("Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"), "How To Look Good Naked" teaches women of all shapes and sizes how to go from self loathing to self loving without resorting to interventions like extreme dieting or cosmetic surgery. The order for the half-hour reality series was announced today at Lifetime's TCA Press Tour by Susanne Daniels, President, Entertainment, Lifetime Networks. "How to Look Good Naked" will premiere in January, 2008 on Lifetime.

"So many women today struggle with their self image and I'm thrilled to now have a show on Lifetime that encourages them to accept, embrace and even flaunt their bodies," said Daniels. Adding, "With his many years in the fashion industry and his hilarious sense of humor, Carson Kressley is truly the ideal host for this feel good show."

How To Look Good Naked" is both an internal and external makeover show that in just five days teaches women of all shapes and sizes to embrace exactly who they are - no matter whether that woman may feel she is too heavy, too short, too tall or just too unhappy with what she's seeing in the mirror. In each half-hour episode, sharing his secrets from the world of fashion and beauty, Kressley guides each woman through a variety of activities, such as learning to dress appropriately for her body type, choosing the correct undergarments and understanding the right way to style her hair and make-up, ultimately helping to change her own self image. Each episode celebrates the transformation with a glamorous Hollywood-style photo shoot in which the women not only accept what they see in the mirror - they show it off! In the end, Kressley helps each woman to see her true self and to learn to love the body she's already got.
