QUICK TAKE

ROB ESTES ("MELROSE PLACE") JOINS THE CAST OF ABC'S NEW DRAMA SERIES, "WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB"

Rob Estes ("Melrose Place," "The Evidence") has joined the cast of the upcoming ABC drama series, "Women's Murder Club." Estes plays Tom Hogan, a politically savvy police lieutenant and Lindsay Boxer's (Angie Harmon) ex-husband, for whom she still has some unresolved feelings. "Women's Murder Club" will premiere FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Jill Bernhardt (Laura Harris) and crime reporter Cindy Thomas (Aubrey Dollar) who use their expertise, their close friendship and their instincts to solve murder cases. All successes in their own fields, they work together to uncover clues to the city's most grisly homicides

The series also stars Laura Harris ("24," "The Dead Zone") as Jill Bernhardt and Tyrees Allen ("Alias") as Warren Jacobi.

"Women's Murder Club" is executive-produced by James Patterson, Joe Simpson, Brett Ratner, R. Scott Gemmill, Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.
