NEW YORK, Monday, August 13, 2007 -- Check out COMEDY CENTRAL on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 10:00 p.m. as Artie Lange hosts a "Friday Night Stand-Up" full of side-splitting laughter followed by the Network Television Premiere of "Beer League."

The chuckling kicks off with the sarcastic wit of Nick DiPaolo, Adam Ferrara and Greg Fitzsimmons as well as the alcohol enthusiast, Corey Holcomb. The howling continues with Lange�s stand-up in a hilarious episode of "Live At Gotham." Just when viewers think the night is over, COMEDY CENTRAL picks up the hilarity and presents the Network Television Premiere of Lange�s breakout movie, "Beer League."

One of today's most sought-after comedic performers, Artie Lange has been a regular on "The Howard Stern Show" for the past five years. Lange began his career in the comedy clubs of New York, which led to him being cast as one of the original series regulars on FOX�s "Mad TV." His success landed him in films such as "Dirty Work," "The Bachelor," "Lost and Found," "Old School" and "Elf." Recently, Lange starred, co-wrote and produced his own feature film "Beer League" to rave reviews. He continues his comedy act and performs stand-up at sold-out venues across the United States.
