SCI FI CHANNEL ACQUIRES OFF-NET CABLE RIGHTS TO JERICHO

Popular Drama Will Debut February 11 With A Four-Episode Marathon

New York, NY/Los Angeles, CA January 23, 2008 - SCI FI Channel has acquired off-network cable rights to the fan favorite drama series Jericho from CBS Television Distribution. The deal provides SCI FI the rights to seasons one and two of the series. Jericho will make its debut on SCI FI with a four-episode marathon on Monday, February 11, 2008 from 7PM-11PM ET. Jericho will begin airing in its regular time slot on Mondays at 10 PM ET on February 18. SCI FI will simulcast Jericho in HD on SCI FI HD.

"Jericho is a gripping science fiction series that SCI FI Channel is excited to add to our schedule," said Thomas Vitale, Senior Vice President of Programming and Original Movies. "Thanks to the passion and persistence of its loyal viewers who saved this program from being canceled, new viewers can now experience this show for the first time on the SCI FI Channel while CBS continues the story in its second season run starting this February."

The day after SCI FI's marathon, Jericho returns to CBS Television Network on Tuesday, February 12 at 10 p.m. ET, for its seven-episode second season. The first season's enthralling story of the residents of a small Kansas town who survive a nuclear attack so entranced fans that they rallied around the show last spring, sending more than 40,000 pounds of peanutsa reference to the final line spoken by Jericho's hero in the season finaleto CBS network executives in a bid to ensure that the series would return for a second season.

Jericho is a drama about what happens when a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears on the horizon, plunging the residents of a small, peaceful Kansas town into chaos, leaving them completely isolated and wondering if they're the only Americans left alive. But in this time of crisis, as sensible people become paranoid, personal agendas take over and well-kept secrets threaten to be revealed, some people will find an inner strength they never knew they had and the most unlikely heroes will emerge.

Jericho cast members include: Skeet Ulrich (Scream, As Good As It Gets), Gerald McRaney (Ike: Countdown to D-Day), Pamela Reed (Proof of Life), Lennie James (Sahara), Michael Gaston (Prison Break), Kenneth Mitchell (The Recruit), Sprague Grayden (Six Feet Under), Erik Knudsen (Saw II), Ashley Scott (Dark Angel), Brad Beyer (Third Watch) and Alicia Coppola (National Treasure: Book of Secrets). The series premiered on the CBS Television Network in September 2006 and is executive produced by Jon Turtletaub, Stephen Chbosky and Carol Barbee.

SCI FI Channel is a television network where "what if" is what's on. SCI FI fuels the imagination of viewers with original series and events, blockbuster movies and classic science fiction and fantasy programming, as well as a dynamic Web site (www.scifi.com ) and magazine. Launched in 1992, and currently in 93 million homes, SCI FI Channel is a network of NBC Universal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.
