CAPRICA (Sci Fi) - Paula Malcomson ("Deadwood") is the first to sign onto the "Battlestar Galactica" prequel, which follows the evolution of the Cylon race and the fight between two families. She'll play Amanda, a surgeon who works as a double agent. Remi Aubuchon and Ronald D. Moore are behind the Universal Media Studios-based two-hour backdoor pilot, which Jeffrey Reiner is directing.
WAREHOUSE 13 (Sci Fi) - Eddie McClintock ("Crumbs") and Joanne Kelly ("Vanished") are set to topline the two-hour backdoor pilot, about two FBI agents who, after saving the life of the U.S. president, are relocated to Warehouse 13, a location that houses supernatural objects the government has collected over the centuries. There they must retrieve missing objects and investigate reports of new ones. They'll play said duo - by-the-book Myka (Kelly) and rule-bender Peter (McClintock) - in the project, which comes from co-creators D. Brent Mote, Jane Espenson and Rockne O'Bannon. In addition, Jace Alexander ("Burn Notice") has signed on to direct.
