ACTOR DENIS LEARY WILL HOST THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF "FASHION ROCKS" AN ENTERTAINMENT SPECIAL CELEBRATING THE BEST IN FASHION AND MUSIC, TUESDAY, SEPT. 9 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

Chris Cornell, One Republic, Pussycat Dolls, Solange Knowles And Timbaland With Special Guest Lynyrd Skynyrd Are Added As Performers

Actor Denis Leary ("Rescue Me") will host the fifth anniversary of FASHION ROCKSTM, an entertainment special celebrating the best in fashion and music, presented by Cond� Nast Media Group, to be broadcast Tuesday, Sept. 9 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Performers added to the already stellar lineup include Chris Cornell, One Republic, Pussycat Dolls, Solange Knowles and Timbaland with special guest Lynyrd Skynyrd. They join previously announced performers Beyonc�, Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Kid Rock, Duffy, Fergie, Justin Timberlake, L'il Wayne, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Rihanna.

The legendary Radio City Music Hall will once again play host to FASHION ROCKSTM, a star-studded concert that honors the extraordinary relationship between fashion and music and features a host of music's most glamorous trendsetters. Ticket proceeds from the event will benefit Stand Up To Cancer. Additional performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.

In his long and varied movie career, Denis Leary has starred in the Oscar-nominated box office hits "Wag the Dog," "A Bug's Life," "Ice Age" and "The Thomas Crown Affair," as well as audience favorites "Suicide Kings" and "Ice Age 2 - The Meltdown." His first big project, "The REF," has become a Christmastime cult classic. Leary has been nominated for a Golden Globe and several Emmys, including Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role in "Recount" and Outstanding Lead Actor and Best Writing for his series "Rescue Me," which he also co-produces. Denis has also garnered praise for his successful one-man shows "No Cure For Cancer" and "Lock n' Load." He has a book coming out this fall entitled "Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid."
