Burbank, CA (August 4, 2008) - Returning for its sophomore season, ABC Family's hit original series, "Greek," will premiere on Tuesday, August 26 (9:00 10:00 p.m. ET/PT). The series will return with ten all-new episodes airing through October. The premiere date marks a change in both day and time for the show, having previously aired on Mondays at 8 p.m.

"Greek" will return as Spring Break is over and the gang returns to campus for the conclusion of their school year. The upperclassmen explore new relationships that turn love triangles into quadrangles and academic aspirations take fascinating turns as their upcoming Senior Year looms. As initiation approaches, the Freshman pledges' devotion is put to the test when it's determined whether or not they are accepted into the fraternities and sororities.

Having her heart continuously torn between Cappie and Evan, Casey is unexpectedly drawn to a new kind of guy, played by Michael Rady ("Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"). Thankfully, Ashleigh has always got her back because Casey faces presidential challenges as Rebecca becomes a liability and Frannie wants the job back, which leads to the returns of Tegan (Charisma Carpenter) and Lizzi (Senta Moses) as well as a new character, Paula, a ZBZ alumni, played by Carol Potter ("Beverly Hills 90210"), who turns out to be a character who is pivotal to Casey's future.

Meanwhile, Rusty struggles to determine if he has made the right choices for his future and is anxious for initiation into Kappa Tau. Dale also experiences some self discovery as his conservative way of thinking is put to the test.

Cappie and Rebecca's whirlwind and fun-filled relationship takes a more serious turn, while, Evan who is now dating Frannie -- and Calvin -- dating Michael, played by Max Greenfield -- forge ahead with their respective new relationships that present their own set of dramatic issues.

Created by Patrick Sean Smith, "Greek" is executive produced by Piller/Segan in association with ABC Family. The cast includes Jacob Zachar as Rusty, Spencer Grammer as Casey, Scott Michael Foster as Cappie, Jake McDorman as Evan, Clark Duke as Dale, Dilshad Vadsaria as Rebecca, Paul James as Calvin, Amber Stevens as Ashleigh and Tiffany DuPont as Frannie.

Part of the Disney-ABC TV Group, ABC Family, distributed in over 95 million homes, features original movies, series and specials reflecting today's families and entertaining and connecting with adults through relevant stories about today's relationships, all told with diversity, dysfunction, passion, humor and heart.
