MyNetworkTV Adds "Masters of Illusion," "Vice Squad" in January
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- MyNetworkTV has outlined its winter schedule, which will see the addition of two new series - "Masters of Illusion" and "Vice Squad."

The pair will air Mondays at 9:00/8:00c and Tuesdays at 9:00/8:00c, respectively, starting the week of January 5. Previous occupants "Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed" and "Jail" wrap their seasons later this month.

"Illusion" is a weekly follow up to a quartet of specials that ran on the netlet last season, subtitled "Impossible Magic." "Squad" then is presumably either the latest franchise from "Jail" and "Street Patrol" producer Langley Productions or a repackaged version of Spike TV's "Real Vice Cops Uncut," which ran for six episodes back in August.

As previously reported, nearly all of MyNetworkTV's series will go on hiatus for the month of December (read the story) in favor of holiday-themed specials and films.
