CBS FEASTS ON ITS 9TH CONSECUTIVE WEEKLY WIN

Network Is Also First in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54

CBS Is the Only Network to Post Year-to-Year Increases

"The Big Bang Theory" Delivers Its Largest Audience Ever and Highest Adult 18-34 Rating

"The Mentalist" Beats "Fringe" in Adults 18-49 for the Second Time in Three Weeks

"NCIS" and "The Mentalist" Are the Week's Top Scripted Series

CBS won its 9th consecutive week of the season in viewers, placed first in adults 18-49 (tie), adults 25-54 for the 5th straight time and was the only network to post year-to-year gains (in all key measures), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the Thanksgiving holiday week ending Nov. 30, week 10 of the 2008-2009 television season.

For the week in viewers: CBS (11.02m), ABC (10.33m), NBC (6.60m) and FOX (6.11m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.91m), ahead of ABC (10.59m), FOX (7.98m) and NBC (7.78m).

For the week in key demographics: CBS was first in adults 25-54 (3.7/09) and tied for first in adults 18-49 (2.9/08, with ABC). Compared to the same week last year (which did not include Thanksgiving), CBS was up +4% in viewers, +3% in adults 25-54, +7% in adults 18-49 and even in households. CBS was the only broadcast network with gains in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54, tied with ABC for first in adults 18-49.

For the week in households: CBS (6.8/12), ABC (6.3/11), NBC (4.0/07) and FOX (3.7/06). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.5/12), ahead of ABC (6.8/11) and both NBC and FOX (4.9/08, each).

November Sweep: CBS is first in households (7.4/12), viewers (11.75m), adults 25-54 (4.0/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.1/08, -0.1 behind ABC).

CBS Weekly Highlights:

On Monday, CBS was first in adults 25-54 (4.8/11), adults 18-49 (4.1/10), adults 18-34 (2.9/08), second in households (7.6/12) and viewers (12.29m). CBS won the last three Mondays in adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

? THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 18-34 (3.2/09), second in households (6.1/09), viewers (10.03m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.9/10). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/10), +19% in adults 18-34 (from 2.7/08), even in households and added +270,000 viewers (from 9.76m, +3%). THE BIG BANG THEORY posted its largest audience ever, best adults 18-34 ratings ever and matched its best adults 18-49 delivery ever.

? NCIS won its time slot in households (11.1/18), viewers (18.12m), was second in adults 25-54 (5.1/13) and adults 18-49 (3.6/10).

? THE MENTALIST was second in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.93m), adults 25-54 (5.0/11) and adults 18-49 (3.7/09), all behind the "Dancing" finale. THE MENTALIST topped "Fringe" in adults 18-49 for the second time in three weeks (3.7/09 vs. 3.4/09, +9%).

-- On Wednesday, CBS was first in households (6.9/12), viewers (11.32m), adults 25-54 (3.9/11) and adults 18-49 (2.9/09).

? CRIMINAL MINDS was first in households (8.6/15), viewers (14.11m), adults 25-54 (4.6/12) and adults 18-49 (3.4/10).

? CSI: NY was first in households (7.5/13), viewers (12.30m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.1/09).

-- CBS won the night in households (5.5/11), viewers (8.84m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.0/06, -0.1 behind FOX) on Thanksgiving night.

-- On Sunday, CBS was first in households (9.7/15), viewers (15.89m), second in both adults 25-54 (5.4/12) and adults 18-49 (4.4/11) Sunday. CBS's NFL 41-minute prime run over posted a 16.2/26 with 27.30m viewers, 10.2/25 in adults 25-54 and 8.9/24 in adults 18-49. CBS led the 7:00-7:30 PM time period in households, viewers and key demographics.

? 60 MINUTES (7:41-8:41 PM) was first from 7:30-8:30 PM in households (11.4/17), viewers (18.64m), adults 25-54 (5.8/13) and adults 18-49 (4.5/11). Compared to the same night last year (when the program aired against late running Giants at Bears football on FOX), 60 MINUTES was up +30% in households, +61% in adults 25-54 and +73% in adults 18-49.

? THE AMAZING RACE (8:41-9:41 PM, 7.0/10 with 11.83m viewers) matched its season high delivery in adults 18-49 (3.5/08) and posted season high adults 18-34 (2.6/06) ratings.
