RYAN McPARTLIN, VICTOR GARBER and RACHEL BLANCHARD Co-Star in Two-Night Miniseries Event Premiering in August on Lifetime Movie Network

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 3, 2009) Get caught in a web of murder and lies as Lifetime Movie Network begins production on the film adaptation of one of Ann Rule's most popular crime novels, Everything She Ever Wanted. Gina Gershon (Showgirls, Face/Off), Ryan McPartlin (TV's Living with Fran, TV's Chuck),Victor Garber (TV's Alias, Milk) and Rachel Blanchard (TV's Clueless, TV's 7th Heaven) will star in the two-night, mini-series event. Inspired by the true story of a Southern husband and wife whose storybook wedding signals the beginning of a nightmare marriage that is ultimately upended by greed and violence, Everything She Ever Wanted will premiere this August on Lifetime Movie Network, Lifetime's sister network and the second highest rated women's channel.

With her younger husband, Tom (McPartlin), by her side, Pat Allanson (Gershon) is determined to become part of Atlanta's elite high society. When she convinces him to spend all of his money on a lavish Southern plantation, Tom is pushed to his financial limits. He is forced to ask his estranged mother for money and to confront his disapproving father (Garber). But, nothing is ever enough to satisfy Pat's overwhelming greed, and, soon, her insatiable thirst for power and status reaches a dangerous pitch. It seems that no one, not even her own sister (Blanchard), is safe when Pat Allanson doesn't get her way.

Gina Gershon grew up in Southern California and developed a love of acting early in life. She got her big break in Pretty in Pink and from there secured a role in the Tom Cruise starrer Cocktail. Later, Gershon earned critical success for her portrayal of Nancy Sinatra in the television film Sinatra and, in 1995, became a bona fide celebrity following her performance in Showgirls. Her filmography also includes Red Heat, The Player, Bound, Face/Off, Delirious and P.S. I Love You. Her television resume includes roles on The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, Melrose Place, Snoops and Rescue Me. Gershon has also made notable appearances on Broadway and, in 2008, published a young adult novel entitled Camp Creepy Time.

Ryan McPartlin went from a college football career to a television career in 2001, with a guest appearance on Passions. His breakout role came opposite Fran Drescher in Living with Fran. McPartlin has also appeared on According to Jim, CSI: NY, Swingtown, and, in 2007, he landed the role of "Captain Awesome" in the hit NBC series Chuck.

Victor Garber has graced the Broadway stage for more than two decades, receiving multiple Tony Award nominations. He is best known for his role as "Jack Bristo" opposite Jennifer Garner on the hit ABC thriller Alias. Garber's film credits include Godspell, The First Wives Club, Titanic and the 2008 Academy Award-winning film Milk. Most recently, he appeared on the series Eli Stone in the role of "Jordan Wethersby."

Canadian native Rachel Blanchard received her first big break when she landed the role of "Cher" in TV's Clueless. She then went on to become a regular on the family-drama 7th Heaven and she secured roles in films including Road Trip, Sugar and Spice and Snakes on a Plane. Blanchard's additional television credits include appearances on Joey, Peep Show and Flight of the Conchords.

Ann Rule is one of America's foremost true crime writers. Her family has been involved in law enforcement for several generations, and her prolific career as a writer has spanned more than 30 years. During that time, she has published over 1,400 articles and 28 books, the majority of which were based on real-life cases. Rule spends several months researching each of her novels and goes as far as attending the trials and visiting the locations where the crimes have occurred. She has written the definitive book on serial killer Ted Bundy, The Stranger Beside Me, and almost all of the award-winning author's books have been on the New York Times' Bestseller List.

Everything She Ever Wanted is produced by Darius Productions in association with Head First Productions for Lifetime Movie Network. Stanley M. Brooks (Prayers for Bobby, The Capture of the Green River Killer) will executive produce along with Jim Head (Gym Teacher: The Movie, Crossroads: A Story of Forgiveness) and producers Damian Ganczewski (Prayers for Bobby, Broken Trail) and Nicholas Tabarrok (Coopers' Camera, Jack and Jill vs. the World).
