BURN NOTICE/ROYAL PAINS (USA) - Multichannel News reports the cable channel will roll out the third season of "Burn Notice" on Thursday, June 4 at the earlier time of 9:00/8:00c. The series will lead into newcomer "Royal Pains" at 10:00/9:00c. "Pains," about a blacklisted doctor (Mark Feuerstein) who reluctantly becomes a doctor for hire to the rich and famous in The Hamptons, will open with a special 75-minute installment with limited commercial interruption.
GONE TOO FAR (MTV, New!) - Adam Goldstein, better known as "DJ AM," is set to topline a new intervention-style reality show for the cable network. The celebrity DJ, who himself has battled with drug addiction, will chronicle "tough-love interventions for young people whose lives have become unmanageable because of chemical dependence." Ish Entertainment and Gigantic Productions are behind the project, which is set to be unveiled during MTV's upfront presentation next week. Michael Hirschorn, Stella Stolper, Cheryl Sirulnick and Paul Rosenberg are the executive producers with Larry Vavra serving as a co-executive producer.
