Medium, "Smallville" Repeats Tee Up Fall Changes

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- CBS's "Medium" and The CW's "Smallville" are heading to their fall homes a little early.

Scheduling updates released over the weekend confirm repeats of the former NBC drama will join CBS's lineup on Tuesday, July 21 at 10:00/9:00c. The series will then settle into Friday nights at 9:00/8:00c for its sixth season on September 25 as previously announced.

Meanwhile, repeats of "Smallville" will head to Fridays at 8:00/7:00c starting July 31. Episodes however will presumably continue in its old Thursday, 8:00/7:00c home for the rest of the summer. The series launches its ninth season on September 25.

[7/20/09 UPDATE: "Smallville" will air on Fridays only starting August 7 with "Supernatural" doubling up on Thursdays beginning August 6.]
