TNT Recruits Marketing The Weinstein Company for DARK BLUE Premiere

Series Premiere Wednesday, July 15, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT)

This July, TNT will unveil an action-packed night of programming with marketing partner The Weinstein Company's Inglourious Basterds along for the ride as sponsor for DARK BLUE. Starring Golden Globe� winner Dylan McDermott (The Practice), the series follows the exploits of an undercover team of police officers so covert, many of their own colleagues don't even know they are involved. DARK BLUE is executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (the CSI series, Without a Trace) and premieres Wednesday, July 15, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), following the season premiere of TNT's hit series LEVERAGE.

As the exclusive movie studio sponsor for the premiere episode, The Weinstein Company will highlight their upcoming film Inglourious Basterds, starring Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, M�lanie Laurent, Christoph Waltz and Eli Roth. TNT will feature both a 90-second extended trailer and a 30-second spot featuring a select scene from the film within the premiere episode. In addition, custom co-branded tune-in spots featuring clips from the film were created to promote Ingluorious Basterds out in theatres Aug. 21 and DARK BLUE premiering on Jul. 15. Inglourious Basterds is written and directed by Quentin Tarantino.

KristieAnne Reed (Eleventh Hour) is co-executive producer. .
