WEEDS SCORES EMMY(R) FOR OUTSTANDING SOUND MIXING

SANTA MONICA, Calif. and VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 21 -- LIONSGATE'S(R) (NYSE: LGF) acclaimed AMC drama MAD MEN made Emmy(R) history again this year with its second consecutive wins for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. With its win for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Camera Series at last week's Creative Arts Awards, MAD MEN received a total of three Emmys(R) this year.

The Company's hit comedy WEEDS scored the Emmy(R) for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation at last week's Creative Arts ceremonies.
