BLONDE CHARITY MAFIA (The CW) - The beleaguered reality series is homeless once again as The CW has opted not to air the six completed episodes. "We just heard from the CW that they have officially decided not to air BCM. They have been very supportive and complimentary of the project, but they now have two other shows ['Fly Girls' and an untitled Tinsley Mortimer series] that are 'home grown' that they are choosing to air instead," read an e-mail to producer PB&J Television obtained by The Washington Post. The company nevertheless plans to find a third home for the series. Lifetime originally commissioned the project, which subsequently washed up at The CW.
THE JEFF DUNHAM SHOW (Comedy Central) - The cable channel has reportedly passed on ordering a second season of ventriloquist-comedian Jeff Dunham's record-breaking series. 5.3 million viewers tuned into its October 22 launch, a number which fell 55% in its second week and all the way to 1.3 million for its December 10 finale. Dunham nevertheless will continue to work for the network under his overall deal, which includes another standup special and tour plus DVDs and other consumer products. Dunham, Ross McCall, Aaron Peters, Judi Brown-Marmel, Robert Hartmann and Stu Schreiberg were the executive producers.
