LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- It looks like ABC is giving comedy another shot on Monday nights.
Network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively its Alyssa Milano vehicle "Romantically Challenged" is expected to premiere Monday, April 5 at 9:30/8:30c after "Dancing With the Stars."
An Alphabet spokesperson wouldn't confirm the date however updated listings released by the network yesterday indicate "Stars" will shrink to 90 minutes from April 5 through May 17. That's seven weeks, the exact number of episodes set to be filmed by the midseason comedy.
"Stars" will also offer up a one-hour performance show on May 24, more than likely leading into its annual summer launch of "The Bachelorette."
As announced yesterday, "Stars" returns for its 10th season on Monday, March 22 at 8:00/7:00c with a two-hour launch. The series will likewise offer up another two-hour installment on March 29 with one-hour results shows set for Tuesdays at 8:00/7:00c starting March 30.
