LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The CW has locked in its 2010-11 plans, which are set to be unveiled tomorrow.
Not among them are its "Melrose Place" revival, now dead after just 18 episodes.
On the flip side, reality entry "Plain Jane" has received a series commitment. The newcomer features British fashion expert Louise Roe as she gives - you guessed it - "plain janes" a makeover in time for their dates with long-time crushes.
Fly on the Wall Entertainment's Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan and Pete Tartaglia are behind the Sony Pictures Television-based project, which is set to roll out this summer.
The netlet has four other potential reality projects in the works - "Lost Weekend," "One Mass Dance," "Shed to Wed" and the untitled Tracy Anderson project - for next season.
