SANTA MONICA, CA (June 2, 2010) - The wait is over! Hollywood's most anticipated night has arrived as MTV News is set to deliver a title wave of "Jersey Shore" exclusive content live from the 2010 Movie Awards red carpet. Beginning at 8:00pm ET/PT, MTV will air the "Jersey Shore Blow-Out At The MTV Movie Awards" pre-show as the entire cast of "Jersey Shore" will appear live on the red carpet. Snooki, Pauly, Jenni, Mike, Angelina, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny will be on hand to present the world with the first 10 minutes of the highly anticipated "Jersey Shore" Season 2. Viewers will see never-before-seen footage of the cast as they leave behind the northeast cold and prepare for a drama-filled road trip to Miami, Florida. "Jersey Shore" Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, July 29th at 10pm ET/PT.

In addition, devoted fans will be treated to a surprise as MTV debuts the new music video for "I Like It," performed by Enrique Iglesias featuring Pitbull. The video stars the cast of "Jersey Shore" and marks the debut of the first single off the upcoming Jersey Shore Soundtrack. Inspired by the breakout hit series, the soundtrack of the summer will be released on Tuesday, July 20 and include original tracks from some of today's hottest artists including Lil Jon, LMFAO, Taio Cruz and Akon. LMFAO will be the celebrity DJ on the red carpet.

If that's still not enough Jersey Shore, the hit series' "queen of the poof" Snooki will be working double duty as she joins the MTV News team -- Sway and Tim Kash -- as a guest correspondent to interview the night's biggest honorees, nominees, performers and presenters live from the red carpet. With Snooki on live TV, viewers can expect more unfiltered questions and unpredictable, OMG red carpet moments than ever before.

It's a night of first-looks, as movie fans will be treated to exclusive sneak peaks from some of this summer's hottest upcoming films, including Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies' "The Last Airbender," from director M. Night Shyamalan, and an exclusive clip from Michael Cera's "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" from Universal Pictures.

This year's 2010 MTV Movie Awards Twitter Visualization allows users everywhere to track real-time, aggregate Twitter activity around all the pre and main show action, providing a dynamic, visual representation of how fans are responding to Movie Awards mayhem. For the first time ever, fans will be able to tweet directly from this innovative platform! This dynamic, new interactive platform will be featured in the pre-show, and accessible on MTV.com.

In time for the Movie Awards, MTV will provide iPhone users with an update to the just released MTV News app that will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes mobile access to this year's Movie Awards. Fans will be able to stream live video of the red carpet construction starting on June 3rd, and watch video highlights from past Movie Awards. Day-of the Movie Awards, users can toggle between seven live-streaming cameras, showcasing live footage of everything from Red Carpet arrivals and Backstage happenings, to the celebrity-studded post party. Post-show, users can view video clips of the best moments from this year's show, as well as enjoy extensive event coverage from MTV News.

Red carpet surprises continue as the elusive popcorn man will be on hand to reveal the first winner of the night during the live pre show. That moment will be sponsored by TMobile USA. Additionally, Coca-Cola(R) sponsored the "Coca-Cola Movie Awards Insider" contest in which lucky winner Lauren Davis from St. Louis, Missouri will join the MTV News team as a correspondent throughout the Movie Awards weekend in addition to reporting directly from the red carpet on show night.

Following the ceremony, MTV PUSH artists Miike Snow will take the stage at the MTV Movie Awards Post Party as live hits from the event will air during the 11pm ET/PT premiere of MTV's new original comedy series "The Hard Times of RJ Berger." Their performance will also stream exclusively live on MTV.com. Coca-Cola(R) will sponsor the live stream of the red carpet and the exclusive post party performance in which fans will be able to access online and via mobile devices. In addition to their Movie Awards Post Part appearance, the band will be MTV's PUSH artists from June 7-13 and also featured in "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" with several music placements that will appear throughout the series.
