OUTLAW COUNTRY (FX) - David Manson ("New Amsterdam") has been tapped as the co-showrunner of the pilot, a drama set against the backdrop of southern organized crime and Nashville royalty. There he'll work alongside co-creators Josh Goldin and Rachel Abramowitz. Manson's involvement is linked to a blind script deal the writer/producer recently inked with Fox Television Studios, which is co-producing the hour alongside FX Productions. He was also behind "Netherworld," a medical show with a supernatural slant set at a mental hospital, which was developed by FX and the studio but is now being shopped to other networks.
SHARK TANK (ABC) - The Alphabet has booked the show's lone unaired installment for Thursday, July 15 at 8:00/7:00c. It's understood the network will use the episode to springboard repeats of the series, which will continue in the Thursday, 8:00/7:00c hour for the remainder of the summer. A decision about a second season however has yet to be made.
