STYLE SPOTLIGHTS SEXY SUPERSTAR SCARY SPICE ON THE NEW STYLE SERIES, "MEL B: IT'S A SCARY WORLD," PREMIERING SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

Real-Life Sitcom Follows the Unpredictable Daily Life of the Unflappable Diva

LOS ANGELES, August 9, 2010 - International pop music sensation Mel B (aka Scary Spice) is all grown up, and what a woman she has become! The curvaceous and leggy superstar, dynamic author and candid television personality has gone from party girl to power mom and wife, with the outspoken personality and no-holds-barred approach to life that thrust her into the headlines. Style's new 10 episode docu-comedy captures the hectic daily life of the driven, jet-setting performer, from the career highs and lows that are part of any entertainer's daily existence to the challenges of juggling career and family. The difficult task of achieving her many career goals while raising two grounded daughters Angel (3) and Phoenix (11) and finding quality time for her loving husband Stephen, might bring a lesser woman to her knees. However, the "Scary Spice" spirit is a force unto itself and seemingly nothing can stop Mel B from getting what she wants. From red carpet events, international business enterprises and live performances, to meetings, romantic dinners and household responsibilities, Style's cameras are there to see how Mel gets it all done! Up-close and personal and always unpredictable, "Mel B: It's a Scary World" premieres Sunday, September 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Style, immediately following the season 2 premiere of "Jerseylicious."

On "Mel B: It's a Scary World," viewers get to know Mel, her husband Stephen Belafonte, and her two adorable daughters (from prior relationships). Mel has been married for three years to husband Stephen who is a film and television producer, as well as her business partner and best friend. Together, Mel and Stephen raise the children under one happy roof in Los Angeles, while running a production company and managing Mel's busy career.

The season premiere dives immediately into the 24/7 frenzy that is a regular part of Mel B's world. Mel is presented with an opportunity to perform in Los Angeles with the dance ensemble Pussycat Dolls. Despite being in great shape and at the top of her game, she worries that she might be getting too old to shake her booty in front of crowds. Later in the episode, Mel is surprised when her whole family receives an invitation to attend the "Shrek 4" premiere.

As the season continues, viewers join Mel as she navigates her action-packed schedule --- stepping into the roles of mommy, business woman and performer as required. There are swim lessons for youngest daughter Angel as she tries to overcome her fear of water. There is planning to be done for daughter Phoenix's grammar school graduation party and chaperoning duties for Phoenix's first date. Finally, there are trips to the therapist and romantic dinners with her husband Stephen to keep their relationship strong. Outside of her home, Mel B's career never stops humming. Style's cameras follow her as she goes into the studio to record a hot new single; co-hosts the E! series "Daily 10;" runs with her husband in a 10k to get in shape for an upcoming workout video; poses for an entertainment magazine photo shoot; and takes on responsibilities as creative director of a major international fitness apparel company. When it comes to her job or her family, Mel is tireless.

To see how superstar mom Mel B manages a multi-faceted career, raises her family and still finds time for her husband --- all with style, a sense of humor and a serious dose of "Girl Power" --- tune-in to the one-hour premiere of "Mel B: It's a Scary World," Sunday, September 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, only on Style.

"Mel B: It's a Scary World" is produced by Studio Lambert. Eli Holzman, Stephen Lambert, Todd Hurvitz, Melanie Brown and Stephen Belafonte are Executive Producers. Sarah Weidman and Merah Chung are Executive Producers for Style.
