OPERATION WILD Returns to Planet Green for a Second Season of Gators, Guns and Git-Er-Done Lawmen

- The Action-Packed Second Season of OPERATION WILD Premieres Friday, November 5, at 9 PM (ET/PT) on Planet Green -

SILVER SPRING, Md., Sept. 30 -- From wild crocodile captures, to run-ins with drunken sailors, to life-or-death swamp rescues, there is no such thing as a boring day at the office for the men and women of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Planet Green's original docu-series, OPERATION WILD, follows these real law enforcement officers with personalities as big as the Everglades while they protect Florida's delicate and diverse natural ecosystems. The heart-pounding action returns to Planet Green when the world-premiere second season kicks off Friday, November 5, at 9 PM (ET/PT).

OPERATION WILD takes viewers on an all-access ride-along as this elite collection of mavericks tackles environmental crimes and emergencies. Fully armed and supported by their arsenal of air boats, swamp buggies, helicopters and four-wheel drives, the FWC team patrols Florida's land, air and water. Favorite characters from season one return, including 22-year FWC veteran Erik "The Magnet" Steinmentz and the FWC's resident cowboy/ladies' man, Clinton Bean. Season two also introduces new members to the team, including no-nonsense working mother Dana "Copper Mom" Klein and FWC rookie Tommy Van Trees.

The new season of OPERATION WILD also provides a firsthand glimpse of the effect of this year's gulf oil spill. As the oil spreads east across the Gulf of Mexico to Florida waters, the FWC team is called upon to protect the coastal environment and indigenous plants and animals threatened by the man-made disaster.

"Planet Green is thrilled to bring back OPERATION WILD for a second season that's full of nonstop action and unforgettable characters," said Laura Michalchyshyn, president and general manager of Planet Green. "OPERATION WILD gives viewers an all-access look inside the hazardous and unpredictable world of the FWC and the result is television that is incredibly entertaining and absolutely addictive."

OPERATION WILD is a 10-episode series produced for Planet Green by Boutique TV Inc. Leslie Greif, Adam Reed, Adam Freeman and Kevin Leadingham are executive producers for Boutique TV Inc. Executive producers for Planet Green are Rachel Smith and Jeff Hasler.
