CBS, this season's ratings leader in viewers and demographics, looks to build upon its strong start with a November filled with big episodes and big guest stars.

Among the month's guest stars are Michael J. Thursday, Oct. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) CSI - Langston (Laurence Fishburne) investigates the untimely death of a college student at a "Walking With Dinosaurs" show. Katee Sackhoff ("Battlestar Galactica") guest stars as Det. Frankie Reed, who assists the CSIs on a missing persons case.

Sunday, Oct. 31 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) THE AMAZING RACE - Teams race through St. Petersburg, Russia where they learn the key to potato farming is manure. Phil Keoghan hosts.

Sunday, Oct. 31 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) UNDERCOVER BOSS - Fernando Aguirre, the boss of Chiquita Brands International, trades in his executive suite for a smock and a job in the fields and causes a mess at their flagship factory when he's unable to perform a physically demanding task.

Sunday, Oct. 31 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) CSI: MIAMI - When a man claims to have dreamed of a murder before it happened, Horatio (David Caruso) must send Natalia (Eva LaRue) undercover for the team to determine if he's crazy, psychic or just plain guilty.

Monday, Nov. 1 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER - Zoey visits Ted's (Josh Radnor) class and manipulates his students into taking her side to save the building being torn down to make room for his project. Meanwhile, Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily (Alyson Hannigan) help Robin (Cobie Smulders) deal with her annoying new co-worker. Broadway actress Laura Bell Bundy ("Legally Blonde - The Musical") guests stars as Becky, Robin's new co-anchor, Will Forte ("Saturday Night Live") returns as Randy, Marshall's incompetent co-worker, and Jennifer Morrison ("House") returns as Zoey, Ted's arch nemesis.

Monday, Nov. 1 (9:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT) TWO AND A HALF MEN - Charlie's (Charlie Sheen) past comes back to bite him when his new girlfriend decides that his stalker is just too much to handle. Liz Vassey returns as Charlie's girlfriend, Michelle, and Melanie Lynskey returns as Charlie's stalker, Rose.

Monday, Nov. 1 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) HAWAII FIVE-0 - McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) must diffuse a hostage situation aboard the U.S.S. Missouri memorial battleship. Kelly Hu ("The Vampire Diaries") guest stars as the Governor's new Public Safety Liaison.

Wednesday, Nov. 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) SURVIVOR: NICARAGUA - The Tribes merge and challenges are now for individual immunity. Only 12 castaways remain. Jeff Probst hosts.

Wednesday, Nov. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) CRIMINAL MINDS - When bodies begin turning up in the cornfields of Indiana, the BAU team must catch a pack of serial killers targeting exotic dancers. Guest starring are Robert Newman ("Guiding Light") as Sheriff Jeff Salters, who aids the team in its investigation, Melissa Claire Egan ("All My Children") as exotic dancer Tara Dice and Internet phenomenon Justine Ezarik (iJustine.com) as victim Meredith Joy.

Thursday, Nov. 4 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) THE BIG BANG THEORY - After accidentally revealing to much to an F.B.I. agent, Sheldon (Jim Parsons ) is stymied when Howard (Simon Helberg) refuses to accept his apology. Eliza Dushku ("Dollhouse") guest stars.

Thursday, Nov. 4 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) CSI - When the CSI team finds the shredded remains of a man, they find themselves with multiple suspects who they must identity.

Friday, Nov. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) MEDIUM - Suddenly unable to understand the spoken word, Allison's (Patricia Arquette) marriage shows signs of strain and she develops an unexpected friendship with a linguist. Guest starring are Judy Reyes ("Scrubs") as Jane Livingstone, a linguist who befriends Allison, and Rena Sofer ("NCIS," "24") as Dr. Natalie Salem, who treats Allison for her language issues.

Friday, Nov. 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) CSI: NY - The CSI's investigate a series of sniper shootings and Mac (Gary Sinise) discovers the lead suspect is a former kidnap victim whom he rescued after three weeks of searching. John Larroquette ("Night Court," "Boston Legal") guest stars as Deputy Chief of Manhattan Borough Detectives Ted Carver.

Sunday, Nov. 7 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) THE AMAZING RACE - In a final showdown to avoid elimination, two racers struggle to master a traditional Russian lawn game. Phil Keoghan hosts.

Sunday, Nov. 7 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) UNDERCOVER BOSS - Tom Ricketts, an owner of the Chicago Cubs, goes undercover inside one of the most storied franchises in all of sports, only to be fired on his second day after striking out as a maintenance employee.

Monday, Nov. 8 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) RULES OF ENGAGEMENT - Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price) finally agree on a surrogate to have their baby. Meanwhile, Russell's (David Spade) mother, Bunny, comes to town, with surprising news for her son. Sara Rue ("Less Than Perfect") guest stars as Brenda, a member of Jeff's softball team, and Joan Collins guest stars as Russell's mother, Bunny Dunbar.

Monday, Nov. 8 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) MIKE & MOLLY - Molly (Melissa McCarthy) gets a reality check when her romance with Mike (Billy Gardell) is interrupted by his incessant snoring.

Tuesday, Nov. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) NCIS - DiNozzo's (Michael Weatherly) father returns and ends up playing a vital role in a murder investigation that could have catastrophic results. Robert Wagner reprises his role as DiNozzo's father, and Bruce Boxleitner guest stars as Vice Admiral C. Clifford Chase, a high ranking government official.

Tuesday, Nov. 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) THE GOOD WIFE - Alicia (Julianna Margulies), Diane (Christine Baranski) and Will (Josh Charles) are caught off-guard by a brilliant disabled attorney who uses his condition to sway a jury during a test case for a huge class action suit against a pharmaceutical company. Meanwhile, Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) reaches out to a former friend, Donna Seabrook (Lili Taylor), whom she believes is sharing her personal secrets with Blake (Scott Porter). Michael J. Wednesday, Nov. 10 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) CRIMINAL MINDS - When a woman is found murdered in Georgetown, the BAU team must find the killer before he strikes again. Academy Award nominee Sally Kirkland ("Anna," "JFK") guest stars as 1950 film actress, May, and Robert Knepper ("Heroes," "Prison Break") guest stars as her devoted son, Rhett.

Friday, Nov. 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) BLUE BLOODS - Jamie (Will Estes) witness a crime in Chinatown and his suspect is killed while in pursuit. Now, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) must solve the case in order for Jamie to avoid an Internal Affairs investigation.

Monday, Nov. 15 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER - When Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) finds a copy of the Canadian kids show starring Robin's (Cobie Smulders) alter-ego, Robin Sparkles, the gang learns more about Robin's past as a performer than they expected. Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls guest stars as Jessica Glitter and Alan Thicke returns as himself.

Tuesday, Nov. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) NCIS - The team is assigned to protect Ziva's (Cote de Pablo) father, when his attendance at an NCIS convention leads to unexpected surprises. Michael Nouri ("Damages," "The O.C.") reprises his role as Ziva's father, Mossad Director Eli David.

Wednesday, Nov. 17 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) THE DEFENDERS - When a club shooting leaves two people dead, Nick (Jim Belushi) must prove a local rapper's innocence. Lil' Romeo ("Romeo!") and Rockmond Dunbar ("Soul Food") guest star as "Killa Diz" and "Bounce."
