Discovery Communications Signs Top Executive Producer Eddie Barbini to Overall Deal

(Silver Spring, Md.) Discovery Studios, the full service production arm of Discovery Communications, today announced a long-term overall deal with Executive Producer and television veteran Eddie Barbini of Blue Frog Pictures. The nonfiction visionary will exclusively produce series and specials for Discovery Studios, the largest single supplier of content for Discovery's networks. Discovery Studios is committed to attracting the industry's top creative talent and building a more efficient and innovative operation for the production of world class television.

Other previous work for Discovery includes WORST CASE SCENARIO, SWAMP LOGGERS and OUT OF THE WILD: THE ALASKA EXPERIMENT for Discovery Channel and MIRACLE DETECTIVES for The Oprah Winfrey Network. His other work includes Executive Producer of "SWAT: Tactical Force" for USA, "American P.I." for FX, "Arrest and Trial" for ABC, and "Manhunt" for UPN. Barbini was recently an Executive Producer with Pilgrim Films.
