BBC America Enters Into Multi-Platform Marketing Partnership With The Weinstein Company
Advertising will appear on the homepage and entertainment sections of bbcamerica.com and bbc.com, as well as on air and online.

New York, NY - BBC AMERICA has entered into a major marketing and promotional relationship around The Weinstein Company's (TWC) latest hit, The King's Speech, which will see cross-promotion on BBC AMERICA as well as bbc.com and bbcamerica.com

Advertising will appear on the homepage and entertainment sections of bbcamerica.com and bbc.com, as well as on air and online around titles such as The Tudors, Doctor Who, Law & Order: UK as well as Royal Wedding programming.

BBC AMERICA is also airing a special 30 minute behind-the scenes documentary about The King's Speech as part of a special day dedicated to the Golden Globes. As well as offering The King's Speech: Behind the Scenes, the channel will run a marathon of Luther, which stars Golden Globe nominee Idris Elba in the title role of John Luther.

The original King's speech, in which King George VI rallies the nation on the outbreak of war in 1939, and on which Tom Hooper's film is based, can be heard through the BBC's U.S. Edition website at http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-12020794.
