Second Season of Hit Comedy Series "I'm In The Band" to Premiere Monday, January 17 on Disney XD

SECOND SEASON OF HIT COMEDY SERIES "I'M IN THE BAND" TO PREMIERE MONDAY, JANUARY 17 ON DISNEY XD

The second season of the hit comedy series "I'm In The Band" commences with a special one hour episode featuring guest star NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice on MONDAY, JANUARY 17 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD. Starring are Logan Miller, Steve Valentine, Greg Baker, Stephen Full and Caitlyn Taylor Love.

Leading up to the premiere, DisneyXD.com will launch a new Olympic-style game, "Rock-On-A-Thon," where users can help Iron Weasel compete in events to prove their ultimate "rock worthiness," and on Monday, January 17 kids can create their own custom Iron Weasel music videos.

The schedule for MONDAY, JANUARY 17 is as follows:

"Pair Of Kings" (6:30 - 7:00 p.m., ET/PT)

"The Bite Stuff" - Feeling homesick, Boomer and Brady call Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bill to check in, but accidentally end up scaring them with their tales of Tarantula people, quicksand and giant bugs. While Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bill rush to the island to bring the twins back to Chicago, Brady is accidently stung by a dangerous Waka Waka bug. With the help of Mason and Mikayla, the kings must hide Brady's strange side effects, including pumpkin head and amnesia, in order to prove that the island is safe enough for the kings to stay and rule.

"I'm In The Band" (7:00 - 8:00 p.m., ET/PT)

"I'm Out of the Band" - Tripp joins arch-rival rock band "Metal Wolf," leaving the guys in a panic to get him back. Derek, Ash and Burger try to lure Tripp back during "Metal Wolf's" performance at a championship football game with a little help from Jerry Rice, and wind up stealing the spotlight.

Disney XD's No. 1 series launch at the time of its debut in February, "I'm In The Band" is Disney XD's No. 3 original live-action series across the network's core kid and boy demos in 2010.

The multi-camera comedy is from creators Michael B. Kaplan ("Frasier," "Girlfriends") and Ron Rappaport ("Date My Mom") and is executive-produced by Kaplan and Richard Gurman ("Married�with Children," "Still Standing"). The series is produced by It's A Laugh Productions and carries a TV-Y7 parental guideline.

Disney XD is a basic cable channel and multi-platform brand showcasing a compelling mix of live-action and animated programming for Kids age 6-14, hyper-targeting boys and their quest for discovery, accomplishment, sports, adventure and humor.
