CHARLIE'S ANGELS (ABC) - Annie Ilonzeh ("General Hospital") has scored a lead role on the drama pilot, an update of the TV-turned-film franchise of the same name. She'll reportedly play one of the angels, Kate Prince, a decorated police detective turned dirty cop. The other three - yet to be cast - are Abby Sampson, a Park Avenue princess turned thief; Gloria Morales, a Miami street racer turned gang member; and new recruit Marisa Valdez, a dishonorably discharged explosives and bomb disposal expert. Said quartet is given a second chance by Charlie (voiced by Robert Wagner) and work for his private investigation agency. Alfred Gough and Miles Millar penned the hour, which is set up at Sony Pictures Television.
HOUSE OF LIES (Showtime) - Dawn Olivieri ("Heroes") is the latest addition to the Don Cheadle-led comedy pilot, about Marty Kaan (Cheadle), "a highly successful, cutthroat consultant who is never above using any means (or anyone) necessary to get his clients the information they want." She'll play Monica, Marty's "crazy, pill-popping ex-wife and biggest professional competition as her consulting firm is No. 1 compared to Marty's No. 2." Stephen Hopkins is directing the half-hour, which was penned by Matthew Carnahan.
