MUSIC MOGUL SEAN COMBS HITS THE BEACH TO MAKE A SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE ON "HAWAII FIVE-0"

Multi-talented musician/actor/entrepreneur Sean Combs ("Get Him to the Greek") will guest star in an upcoming episode of HAWAII FIVE-0. The episode is currently slated to air this spring on the CBS Television Network.

Combs guest stars as NYPD Detective Reggie Williams, who hunts the streets of Honolulu for the men responsible for a crime against his family, but his one-man war for justice sets this fellow cop on a collision course with Five-0.

To prepare for his first action role, Combs will undergo weapons instruction and training with a Navy S.E.A.L. Several of his biggest hit songs will also be featured throughout the episode. Combs' other acting credits include critically acclaimed roles in "Get Him to the Greek," "Monster's Ball" and an Emmy-nominated performance in "A Raisin in the Sun."

HAWAII FIVE-0 is the season's #1 new series, averaging nearly 13 million viewers per episode. The special broadcast following Sunday's AFC Championship game averaged a series high 19.3 million viewers. HAWAII FIVE-0 also ranks as the most DVR'd program of the season, recently setting a new weekly playback record by gaining an additional +3.90 million viewers with live plus 7-day playback factored in.

A contemporary take on the classic series, HAWAII FIVE-0 is about an elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the Islands' sun-drenched beaches. The series stars Alex O'Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park, and airs regularly on Mondays at 10:00 PM, ET/PT, on the CBS Television Network.
