JAYSON DINSMORE JOINS CMT AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, DEVELOPMENT

Network Ramps Up Development on the West Coast

LOS ANGELES - February 2, 2011 - Jayson Dinsmore, formerly senior vice president, alternative development at NBC, has joined CMT as Executive Vice President, Development, it was announced today by Brian Philips, President, CMT. In this newly-created position, Dinsmore will oversee all development for the channel and manage the network's development team, based primarily out of CMT's Santa Monica offices. Dinsmore reports to Philips, effective immediately.

"CMT is ramping up West Coast Development fast, and Jayson is the ideal choice to lead an ever-larger team," said Philips. "Jayson is a production-savvy executive with a deep background in hit reality, and he enjoys a terrific reputation within the LA community. In this new high-profile position, he will shine a bright light on CMT's aggressive Development agenda, and make us a 'first choice' destination for big ideas."

Dinsmore added: "I am both honored and thrilled to be joining the CMT team and to continue building upon the success of such a recognizable brand. Dinsmore spent the last decade at NBC Entertainment, serving in several capacities, including Senior Vice President, Alternative Development, and Vice President, Alternative Programming & Development, responsible for a variety of shows including "Deal or No Deal," "The Sing-Off," "Minute To Win It," "The Restaurant" and "Three Wishes." He was Executive Producer on such shows as "Last Comic Standing" and "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" On the specials front, Dinsmore has overseen production on both the Tournament of Roses and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades, Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants, and the Golden Globes.

Dinsmore is a third year assistant visiting professor at UCLA and a Texas native.
