NEW YORK, April 5, 2011 -- It's comedy's big night out as the first annual "The Comedy Awards" airs across multiple MTV Networks on Sunday, April 10 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Comedic talent including Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Ty Burrell, Louis C.K., Tracy Morgan and Andy Samberg will all be on hand to help kick off this inaugural event dedicated to honoring and celebrating the world of comedy.

Highlights from the show include:

Bill Murray presenting David Letterman with the first-ever "Johnny Carson Award For Comedic Excellence"

Eddie Murphy receiving the "Comedy Icon Award"
