CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP (ABC, New!) - The Alphabet has reportedly ordered six episodes of a celebrity edition of its veteran reality series. Casting is underway on the project, which will see celebrities switch lifestyles for a week. Zodiak USA is producing.
COUGAR TOWN (ABC) - Co-executive producers Chrissy Pietrosh and Jessica Goldstein have inked a two-year overall deal with producer ABC Studios. The pact covers their duties on the Wednesday night comedy as well as any future development. No financial details were released. This past development cycle, the duo penned "Besties" for the ABC Studios-based Mark Gordon Co. which didn't receive a pilot commitment from the network.
JERSEY SHORE (MTV) - Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is the latest cast member to sign a development deal with the cable channel. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio previously inked similar pacts, which resulted in their upcoming series. MTV likewise will film a presentation featuring Sorrentino however no details were given.
MEDIUM (CBS) - Glenn Gordon Caron has signed a new two-year, seven-figure overall deal with producer CBS Television Studios. As is custom, the pact calls for the veteran writer/producer to develop new series projects for the studio.
