90210 (The CW) - Justin Deeley and Megalyn Echikunwoke have snagged recurring roles on the upcoming season of the netlet's series. He'll play Austin, "a sexy cowboy type who'll be a potential love interest for AnnaLynne McCord's Naomi," with Echikunwoke as Holly, "Naomi's new college archnemesis, the head of the best sorority at CU."


BREAKOUT KINGS (A&E) - The cable channel has ordered a second season of the series, which wrapped its freshman run in May. Production is set to begin later this year for a premiere date as early as the first quarter of 2012. "Kings" averaged 1.890 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49, on par with fellow original drama "The Glades" in the key demographic (0.8 rating for its first season).


CUCUMBER (Showtime, New!) - Russell T Davies ("Queer As Folk") is developing a new drama at the pay channel. No details about the project were given other than it revolves around gay men. BBC Worldwide Productions is producing.


DROP DEAD DIVA (Lifetime) - Lex Medlin ("Southland") has booked a four-episode arc on the current season of the Lifetime series. He'll play Owen French, "a charming judge who asks Jane out after presiding over her cases in court," beginning in September.


SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Zach McGowan has scored a role on the show's sophomore season. He'll play Jody, a new love interest for Laura Slade Wiggins's character, who may come between her and Lip (Jeremy White).
