The Hub TV Network Celebrates National Friendship Day with a Marathon Of Popular Animated Series

The Hub, a TV destination for kids and their families, will celebrate National Friendship Day with a special lineup of "friendship"-themed episodes, Sunday, August 7 (noon - 4 p.m. ET). The marathon will include the Hub animated movie "Chuck's Big Air Dare" and popular Hub TV animated series "Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures," "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" and "Pound Puppies."

The special lineup follows (all times are ET):

"Chuck's Big Air Dare" (Hub Special, noon - 1 p.m.)

The Hub presents a one-hour special based on the animated series "The Adventures of Chuck & Friends." When a competitive visitor to the truck stop challenges Chuck, he takes his amazing stunts to a new -- and possibly dangerous -- level. The special was produced by Hasbro Studios.

"Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures" (Hub Original Series, 1 - 2 p.m.)

The Hub presents two back-to-back, half-hour episodes of the CGI-animated series "Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures." Girls of all ages can join Strawberry and her friends in Berry Bitty City, where no challenge is too big for this high-spirited, resourceful bunch. The series is produced by American Greetings Properties.

"My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" (Hub Original Series, 2 - 3 p.m.)

The Hub presents two back-to-back, half-hour episodes of the animated series "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic." Twilight and her friends Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, as they embark on wondrous adventures and learn what it means to be a true friend. The series is produced by Hasbro Studios.

"Pound Puppies" (Hub Original Series, 3 - 4 p.m.)

The Hub presents two back-to-back, half-hour friendship-themed episodes of the animated series "Pound Puppies," featuring a team of fearless dogs whose mission is to find loving homes for puppies in need. It's "A pup for every person and a person for every pup" with this furry pack of friends! The series is produced by Hasbro Studios.
