FISHBOWL WORLDWIDE MEDIA BEGINS PRODUCTION ON ORIGINAL ANIMATED WEB SERIES "THE POTTS"

Dave Coulier and Richard Kind to Voice Characters

LOS ANGELES (August 11, 2011) - FishBowl Worldwide Media, a next generation studio founded by entertainment industry veterans Vin Di Bona and Bruce Gersh, today announced the company has begun production on a pilot episode for an original animated web series The Potts, which follows a family in search of fame and fortune who will do just about anything to get on reality TV. FishBowl has cast Dave Coulier and Richard Kind as members of the Potts clan in the pilot created by David & Goliath Founder and Illustrator Todd Goldman and How I Met Your Mother Executive Producer Chuck Tatham. It is being executive produced by DiBona, Gersh and FishBowl Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs Susan Levison.

"At FishBowl we are actively creating entertainment properties for all platforms. In a world of YouTube stars and viral videos, we saw huge opportunity to draw inspiration from reality TV and develop a show that stars a family willing to do whatever it takes for their 15 minutes of fame," said Levison. "Chuck Tatham has written a fantastic pilot script while Todd Goldman has identified the right animated style for The Potts. Add a cast of comedic actors, and we think we've created a fun series that will attract both viewers and brand sponsors."

The Potts brings together the talents of Tatham, who has a long history in TV, producing series including Arrested Development and The Ellen Show; Goldman, the founder of David & Goliath, a $90 million merchandise company known for its clothing and posters featuring slogans including "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them"; and FishBowl's own Levison, who served as Senior Vice President, Comedy Development and oversaw animation at Fox Broadcasting Company including the development of The Cleveland Show, as well as the launch of Fox Inkubation Studios, a program that worked with animators and writers to develop short form animated content.

Finished episodes of The Potts will outline the family's attempt at filming reality TV-worthy home videos. FishBowl is currently identifying brand integrations and sponsorships for the online series.

The Potts is one of multiple series FishBowl has created since launching its Digital division. The company launched original Web series CuteWinFail in collaboration with DeFranco Inc. and YouTube celebrity host Toby Turner in 2010. The hit show has already received more than 25 million views and is ranked in the YouTube Comedy Channel Top 20.
