Exclusive: FOX Drops "House" Repeats, Adds "Buried Treasure" Encores to Wednesdays

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- [UPDATED - 5:01 PM] FOX has revised its plans to relocate "Buried Treasure" to Wednesday nights at 9:00/8:00c.
The freshman series will now stay put at 8:00/7:00c with the encores instead taking over the 9:00/8:00c slot.
[PREVIOUS - 2:13 PM] FOX is relocating "Buried Treasure" to Wednesdays at 9:00/8:00c, network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively.
In addition, encores of the series will air at 8:00/7:00c leading into said originals at 9:00/8:00c.
Last night's premiere at 8:00/7:00c delivered a modest 3.65 million viewers and a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49. A repeat of "House" (which is being dropped going forward in favor of the aforementioned change) fared even worse at 9:00/8:00c, drawing 2.46 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49.
"Buried Treasure" wraps its four-week run on Wednesday, September 14 as previously announced.
