TLC'S "SAY YES TO THE DRESS" RETURNS WITH ALL-NEW EPISODES

Season 7 Premieres Friday, October 7 at 9pm ET/PT

TLC to air one-hour special SAY YES TO THE DRESS: THE BIG DAY on Friday, October 14 at 10pm ET/PT

(New York, NY) - On Friday, October 7 at 9pm ET/PT, TLC brings back its hit series SAY YES TO THE DRESS for a 7th season. Each half-hour episode goes behind-the-scenes at the world's premier bridal salon, Kleinfeld Bridal. Part fashion show, part bridal story, part family therapy, the series uncovers the hurdles every staff member faces to make each bride completely satisfied on what may be the single most important day of her life. The new season opens up with Kelly Ripa as she tries her hand at being a bridal consultant for a day at Kleinfeld. With the help of Randy and the other consultants, she soon realizes it's not as easy as it seems. In addition to Kelly Ripa, this season features visits from some special guests including the wife of Gary Rossington (one of the founding members of Lynyrd Skynyrd) as she searches for the perfect dress for their vow renewals, and Katherine from DC CUPCAKES along with some other familiar TLC faces.

Also featured this season - a bride who purchases two dresses totaling close to $50,000, and brides who choose to go the unconventional route with blush colored dresses, short dresses, turtleneck dresses, silver runway dresses, and flowery gold sheath dresses.

On Friday, October 14 at 10pm ET/PT, TLC will also air SAY YES TO THE DRESS: THE BIG DAY. Throughout the one-hour special, cameras follow Kelly Miller - a bride who first appeared in an episode of SAY YES TO THE DRESS: BIG BLISS - as she plans her big day. For the first time in the show's history, TLC will show viewers what happens once a bride finds her dress and goes on her way to happily ever after. Kelly made a lasting impression with her big personality and confidence when she came to Kleinfeld to find her dream dress. This plus-size bride knows what she wants, and once she found her perfect dress, viewers had to find out what happened next. While Kelly tries to keep both her parents happy through all the crazy planning and attempts to include (and not fight with) her fianc Roger, she's also dealing with stress surrounding her own body image and weight. From the cake and invitations to the venue, flowers, and fittings - viewers will get to join in on Kelly's experience as she goes from 'Saying Yes to the Dress' to 'The Big Day'.

SAY YES TO THE DRESS is produced by Half Yard Productions for TLC.

Other installments of the hit franchise include: SAY YES TO THE DRESS: BIG BLISS, SAY YES TO THE DRESS: RANDY KNOWS BEST, SAY YES TO THE DRESS: ATLANTA, and SAY YES TO THE DRESS: BRIDESMAIDS.
