MTV Is Making Tuesday Totally "Awkward.," With an "Awkward." Marathon Leading Up to the Special Expanded Season Finale

The "Awkward." Marathon Starts Tomorrow At 12:00 p.m. ET/PT, Allowing Viewers to Catch-up Before the Special One-Hour Season Finale at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT

Santa Monica, Calif. (September 26, 2011) - It's the bomb-dot-com, "Awkward." fans! MTV is airing a five-hour "Awkward." marathon tomorrow, Tuesday, September 27, beginning at 12:00 p.m. ET/PT. Viewers can catch up and relive the drama and laughs of this season, all leading up to the special one-hour season finale at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, when the burning questions of who Jenna will choose and who really wrote the letter will finally be revealed. Additional encore presentations of episodes 109 and 110 will also air again tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, respectively.

"Awkward." is MTV's #1 scripted series of 2011, averaging a 1.9 rating and 1.5 million viewers in the key P12-34 demo. The series is the top cable series among F12-34 in its timeslot. "Awkward." will return for a second season in 2012 on MTV.

"Awkward." stars Ashley Rickards ("One Tree Hill") as Jenna; Beau Mirchoff ("Desperate Housewives") as Matty; Molly Tarlov ("Huge," "iCarly") as Sadie; Jillian Rose Reed ("Weeds") as Tamara; Brett Davern ("Junk," "Triple Dog," ) as Jake; Nikki DeLoach ("North Shore," "Love and Other Drugs") as Lacey; Desi Lydic ("Traffic Light," "Two and a Half Men") as Valerie; Jessica Lu ("CSI," "Law & Order: Los Angeles") as Ming; Mike Faiola ("Seeing Other People") as Kevin; and Greer Grammer ("iCarly") as Lissa.

"Awkward." was created by Lauren Iungerich who also serves as executive producer. Justin Levy and Anne Marie McGintee are the MTV executives in charge of production.
