LOGO'S "BAD S*X" TAKES VIEWERS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS OF SEX THERAPY GROUP

New Series Premieres Friday, November 4th at 9PM ET/PT on Logo

NEW YORK, September 29, 2011 - Who doesn't love s*x? But what happens when that love becomes an obsession or addiction? Or you don't feel the love at all? S*xual issues - from promiscuity to s*xual phobias and love addiction can destroy lives - and in some cases end them. Noted sex specialist Christopher Donaghue has dedicated his professional life to helping people reclaim control of their s*x lives through intense individual and group therapy sessions. In the docu-reality series "Bad Sex," the cameras capture the dynamic group sessions and the explosive and frequently heart-felt exchanges among clients. "Bad S*x" will offer a frank and shocking behind-the-scenes look at the process of healing severe sexual issues - both inside and outside the therapy room. The 10-episode series "Bad Sex" premieres Friday, November 4th at 9PM ET/PT on Logo.

"Bad Sex" follows the real-life experiences of 10 diverse participants undergoing an intensive, two-month program with s*xuality expert Chris Donaghue. Male and female, gay and straight, the participants range in age from 20 to forty-years-old and arrive at the group with issues ranging from dangerous promiscuity to clinical frigidity, from violent s*x addiction to compulsive public s*x. Under his supervision, they'll participate in a unique s*x therapy group program where they'll finally address their deep-rooted issues around s*x, infidelity, trust, relational intimacy and s*xual addiction.

Each episode will also feature a deeper examination of the treatment process and progress of an individual group member. Over the course of the season, viewers will get to know each participant's struggle and hopeful path to healing. Can Chris lead them away from s*xual destruction and addiction, and toward healthier lives?

Christopher Donaghue is a s*xuality expert specializing in the s*xuality spectrum and addictive behaviors such as s*xual compulsivity/s*x addiction, as well as mood and relational intimacy disorders. Donaghue received his Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Temple University and is currently finishing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. He trained in couples and s*x therapy at Florida's Post Graduate S*x Therapy training program, UCLA, and the Center for Health S*x. Chris currently specializes in couples and s*x therapy, as well as running s*x addiction, love addiction and sexuality group therapy at The Hills Treatment Center. He is the former Program Director at La Ventana Rehab's S*xual Addiction Program. He is a member of American Association of S*xuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
