NEW E! REALITY SERIES GOES BEYOND THE RUNWAYS AND FASHION MAGAZINES TO SHOWCASE THE DISCOVERY PROCESS OF MILLION-DOLLAR FACES IN THE WORLD OF INTERNATIONAL MODELING IN "SCOUTED," BEGINNING MONDAY NOVEMBER 28TH AT 10:00PM ET/PT

"Scouted" Follows the Personal Stories of Aspiring Models Plucked from Obscurity and Put to the Test in New York's Ultra-Competitive, High-Fashion, Professional Modeling Industry

Los Angeles, October 6, 2011 - Countless international supermodels have walked the runways in top designer fashion shows and have graced the covers of major fashion magazines, all recognized for their undeniable beauty. But before these models were household names, they were living lives of obscurity, oblivious to where their good looks would land them. In E!'s new eight-episode, one-hour docu-series, "Scouted," viewers can follow the personal stories of young men and women from their "moment of discovery" by local model scouts through their journeys to international stardom. For the lucky few that make it big, beauty transformations await before they are put through the paces in hopes of being signed by famed New York agency One Management, whose current roster of talent includes such top models as Claudia Schiffer, Iman, Eva Herzigova, Bar Refaeli, Bridget Hall, Kelly Brook, Devon Aoki and Josie Maran. Which ones really have the potential to become working high-fashion models, and which ones are destined

to return home with just some 8x10 glossies to show for their adventure? Each wide-eyed potential model has their own unique story, and all of them are reaching for the stars to make their dreams come true. For some, it will be the first step toward cover girl status. For others, it will be the harsh reality of rejection. "Scouted" premieres Monday, November 28th at 10:00pm ET/PT only on E!

"'Scouted' takes viewers into the small towns where new talent is discovered, to burger joints and department stores where the next supermodel might just be working behind a counter," said Lisa Berger, President, Entertainment Programming for E!. "That's what makes this such an exciting new show for us -- revealing the surprising process of how a star can be born. It takes a keen eye to find a diamond in the rough, and most never make the cut, but these girls' stories are so compelling. Whether heartbreaking or inspiring, you can't help but connect with these young women as they pursue their dreams of fame and fortune."

In "Scouted," local model scouts from Houston, Salt Lake City, Richmond and San Francisco scour nearby sorority houses, rodeos, county fairs, fast food restaurants, high schools, beaches and practically everywhere else in town, looking for the girls they feel have what it takes to be a professional model. Following a bit of preliminary training and polishing, the local scouts submit their potential new stars to One Management in NYC, in hopes that the experts like what they see and request a meeting. If the model is seen to have potential, she and her scout travel to New York City to meet with the "Scouted" industry experts, some of the most powerful players in the international modeling world, who do a professional evaluation before each girl meets with the decision makers at One Management. With over 25 years of model agency experience, industry expert Michael Flutie, serves as Creative Director. Legendary model Beri Smither is the Model Mentor, trendsetter and fashion expert Dani Stahl serves as the Image and Style Consultant, and top industry casting director Julia Samersova is the Director of Scouting. Together, this esteemed team will execute an intense process of "testing" their potential million-dollar faces before sending them off to their meeting with One. After each girl's consultation, One Management then reviews all elements of the would-be talent, including professionalism, physical features, high-fashion polish, spokesperson potential and uniqueness, before ultimately determining if a girl will have a fashion career or not. A model's fate is in their hands, and one slip-up can dash a girl's dreams on the spot.

Each of the eight, one-hour episodes will focus on different models who make it through various stages of the discovery process. Some won't even make it out of their small towns, while others may be whisked off to Milan, Paris or London where they meet fashion designers, work the fashion runways, appear on magazine covers and represent the world's top beauty and fashion brands. From a beautiful single mother or a rough-and-tumble tomboy, to a stunning young taxidermist or a daughter coping with her father's illness, witness how every kind of ordinary girl is really discovered and given the opportunity to become a supermodel.

Join E! as they pull back the curtain showcasing the unique stories and the real process of how models are discovered. Stars are not born. Stars are created. Be part of the discovery. "Scouted" premieres Monday, November 28th at 10:00pm ET/PT only on E!

The series is produced by Cris Abrego Productions, a subsidiary of 51 Minds, an Endemol Company and is produced by Executive Producers Cris Abrego, Michael Flutie, Ben Samek, Rabih Gholam and Angela Aguilera.
