Hallmark Channel's COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS: More True Holiday-Themed Programming Than any Other Network

"A Christmas Wedding Tail" is Rated: J for Joy, G for Family Gathering and T for Tree-Trimming*

A pair of passionate pooches fall head-over-tails in love and conspire to get their owners to fall for each other in "A Christmas Wedding Tail," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere, Saturday, November 19 (6p.m. ET/PT, 5C). Jennie Garth ("90210," "Accidentally in Love"), Tom Arnold ("Rosanne"), Brad Rowe ("General Hospital") and Emmy(R) nominated actress Catherine Hicks ("7th Heaven") star in one dog of a tail. Jay Mohr ("Suburgatory," "Ghost Whisper") and Nikki Cox ("Las Vegas") lend their voice talents to Labrador Rusty and Poodle Cheri. Hallmark Channel's COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS features more true holiday-themed programming than any other network.

Susan (Garth), an unemployed Los Angeles museum curator and widowed single mom temporarily lives in a small California town with her three sons. Jake (Rowe) is a single dad of two tomboys who owns the local winery. When Susan's Labrador Rusty (Mohr) and Jake's Poodle Cheri (Cox) fall for each other, these canine matchmakers help their owners fall in love too. Now with a Christmas Day wedding to plan - and major complications threatening to unravel it all - the two mismatched broads must find a way to make one happy family.

"A Christmas Wedding Tail" is a Hybrid Production in association with Landom Television. Stewart F. Lane, Bonnie Comley, Jeffrey Schenck, Zelma Kiwi, Barry Barnholz, Jess Sagansky and Jennie Garth are executive producers. Duane Poole is the co-executive producer. Michael Feifer is the producer and director. Screenplay by Peter Sullivan. Story by Jeffery Schenck, Peter Sullivan and Jeff Sagansky.

* Hallmark Channel's COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS created a new television tradition for 2011: the Christmas TV ratings system. The Christmas ratings include: S for Santa, T for Tree-Trimming, J for Joy, F for Family Meal, G for Family Gathering, P for Presents and C for Caring. Have a very Hallmark Christmas!
