Peacock Productions Signs Deal With Relationship Expert Melanie Mar to Develop Series

PEACOCK PRODUCTIONS SIGNS DEAL WITH RELATIONSHIP EXPERT MELANIE MAR TO DEVELOP SERIES

November 16, 2011 - New York, NY ... Peacock Productions, a non-fiction production company that combines the editorial expertise, technical resources and seasoned production talent of NBCUniversal, today announced that it has signed a deal with relationship expert Melanie Mar to produce a dating series.

"We're really excited about the opportunity to work with Melanie on this production," said Sharon Scott, Executive Vice President and GM of Peacock Productions. "Not only does she have the expertise as a matchmaker and relationship expert, she is a very likeable character - traits that we felt were important as we develop this series."

Most recently featured in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "The Millionaire Matchmaker," Ms. Mar is an accredited relationship expert. She is also the owner of the Millionaire's Club International Matchmaking Agency UK/Europe and is sought after by an exclusive client base of prestigious businessmen and women, reality TV stars, and celebrities.

Born in England, Ms. Mar's career began as a teenager traveling the world as a runway and photographic model. Still maintaining her immense passion for fashion, she mingles with the likes of Roberto Cavalli and Tom Ford, and regularly wears their designs on the red carpet.

The series will feature Ms. Mar as she coaches men and women through the dating process, stripping them of their wealth and throwing them into the game to see if they can truly find love and happiness without their material possessions.
