History Renews Six Series, Orders "Cajun Pawn Stars" Spin-Off

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- History has ordered new seasons of "Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy," "American Restoration," "Top Gear," "Top Shot," "Ax Men" and "Swamp People," a network spokesperson has confirmed to the site.

In addition, the cable channel has commissioned "Cajun Pawn Stars," a spin-off of its top draw "Pawn Stars." The series, premiering Sunday, January 8 at 10:00/9:00c*, follows Jimmie DeRamus and his team at Alexandria, Louisiana's famed Silver Dollar Pawn and Jewelry Center.

As for its returning class, "Only in America" and "American Restoration" will kick off new cycles on Wednesday, January 11 at 9:00/8:00c and 10:00/9:00c, respectively.

"Top Gear," "Top Shot," "Ax Men" and "Swamp People" then will return with new episodes in the first quarter* alongside the previously announced newcomer "Full Metal Jousting."
