E! Presents Weekly Encore Performances of NBC's "The Voice" Beginning Saturday, February 11

E! PRESENTS WEEKLY ENCORE PERFORMANCES OF NBC'S "THE VOICE" BEGINNING SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11

Los Angeles, February 8, 2012 - E! Entertainment will once again be the exclusive cable home of NBC's runaway hit show "The Voice," airing special encore performances each week of the highly anticipated new season. The series will debut on E! with a special three-hour presentation on Saturday, February 11 at 5:00pm ET/PT and will air weekly two-hour episodes in its regular timeslot beginning Saturday, February 18 at 6:00pm ET/PT.

Last year when E! aired encore performances of "The Voice," the network saw ratings increases by as much as 60% in its timeslot throughout the season. In total, more than 22 million viewers tuned into "The Voice" on E! in 2011.

The season two premiere of "The Voice" on NBC on Sunday, February 5 after the Super Bowl delivered a 16.3 rating in adults 18-49 - the highest result for any entertainment telecast on any network in six years - and 37.6 million viewers overall. And on Monday, the show's regular-slot debut achieved NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period (a 6.7), excluding Olympics, since February 2004.

"The Voice" is a vocal competition show featuring celebrity musician coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Carson Daly hosts and Christina Milian serves as social correspondent. The show's innovative format features three stages of competition: the first begins with the blind audition, then the competition enters into a battle phase, and finally, the live performance shows. In the end, each coach will have one star artist left ready to compete against the other teams' finalists to be named "The Voice."

"The Voice" is a presentation of Mark Burnett's One Three Inc., Talpa Content USA, Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series is created by John de Mol, who executive-produces along with Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.
